About Us

Mission The mission of the Oral Health Program is to plan, implement, and coordinate all public health interventions that will prevent oral cavity and dental-related diseases in Los Angeles County’s residents. Currently, the staff is focusing on community water fluoridation, prevention of Early Childhood Caries (ECC), and increasing access to dental care for residents of the County. Vision The vision of the Oral Health Program is that all Los Angeles County residents will benefit from good oral health and recognize it as an important component of good general health.
