The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Vital Records office maintains birth records for events occurring in Los Angeles County (except for Pasadena and Long Beach) during the current or previous year.  For all other records, contact the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder at 800-201-8999 or visit their website

Birth Certificates are available 10 days after the original certificate has been registered. Requests can be made in-person, by mail, or on-line.

DEATH CERTIFICATES
